ARTICLES OF FAITH
A.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible authoritative Word of God, and a complete revelation of God, and is in itself sufficient as our rule of faith and practice.
(II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:21; I Thess. 2:13)
B.
We believe there is one God eternally existing and manifesting Himself to us in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
(Isa. 6:8; Isa. 44:6; John 1:1; II Cor. 13:14)
C.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His shed blood, and His vicarious atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God , as the believer's High Priest and Advocate, and in His personal, imminent, and pre-millennial return.
(John 1:1; Isa. 7:14; Luke 1:26-35; II Cor. 5:21; Acts 2:22; I Cor. 15:2-6; Isa. 53:4-8; I John 1:7; I Cor. 2:2-4; Acts 1:9-11; I John 2:1-2; John 14:3; Rom. 8:28; Titus 2:13)
D.
We believe the Spirit took up His abode in the world in a special sense on the day of Pentecost according to the divine purpose, and that He now dwells in each and every believer, thus uniting them to Christ as one body.
(John 14:16-17; I Cor. 6:19; Eph. 2:22: Acts 2:1-4)
We believe in His work of restraining evil in the world to the measure of the divine will, His convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, His regenerating regarding all believers, His indwelling of all who are saved, His anointing of believers to teach them all truth, His sealing of believers unto the day of redemption, His continued filling for power and service of those saved who are yielded to Him and subject to His will.
(II Thess. 2:7; I Cor. 12:13; John 16:7-11; II Cor. 12:2; Eph. 1:13-14: Eph. 4:30; Acts 1:8)
E.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, are totally depraved and need a Savior from sin.
(Gen. 1:26; Gen. 2:17; John 3:3; Rom. 13:10-23)
We believe in one condition for salvation is which is the receiving of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith as personal Savior and that salvation and that salvation is not based on any work or merit of the individual . I John 1:12; John 3:16; Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 5:1)
We believe that all the redeemed who are truly saved are kept by God's power and that it is the privilege of the believer to rejoice in this assurance of his eternal salvation through the testimony of God's Word, which, however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to sin.
(John 6:37-40; John 10 27-30; Rom. 8:1, 38-39; I Cor. 1:4-8; I Peter 1:5; Rom. 13:13-14; Titus 2:11-15; I John 3:1-3)
F.
We believe in the personality of Satan, who is the openly declared enemy of God and man. He is also the author of sin and the cause of the fall of man. We believe that he shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire.
(Job 1:6-7; Matt. 4:2-11; Isa. 14:12-17; Rev. 20:10)
